# Corporate bus tickets: trip search, seat selection and purchase in one portal

Source: https://kurumsal.pro/en/corporate-bus-tickets/ — Last updated: 2026-11-04

The corporate bus ticket module lets the portal your agency gives its corporate clients search intercity bus trips, pick a seat on a live seat map and buy the ticket in the same cart as flights and hotels. The company travel policy gives a verdict on every trip row, and the request goes to approval when needed.

## In short
- In Kurumsal.pro an employee searches a bus trip by city or terminal and date, chooses a seat on the live seat map in the trip detail and adds the ticket to the cart.
- Each trip row shows the bus company, departure and arrival times, seat layout, departure terminal, number of free seats, cancellation terms, the price per seat and the policy verdict.
- The company manages bus spend with rules on amount per person, seat layout category, minimum days before purchase and percentage difference from the best option.
- The bus ticket sits in the same trip cart as flights, hotels and transfers; if it is out of policy it goes to approval as a single request, and if it is within policy it is bought directly.
- Bus sales are invoiced to the company's billing profile and pass through the agency's accounting line, including the SYS feed, like every other product.

For many companies, intercity coaches are the real transport of field teams, regional managers and factory visits. These journeys often stay outside the company's travel system: the ticket is bought individually, receipts are collected afterwards and policy never comes into play. In Kurumsal.pro the bus ticket lives inside the portal your agency gives its corporate clients; the employee searches the trip, picks a seat and buys the ticket under the same rules as a flight.

## What is the corporate bus ticket module?

The corporate bus ticket module is the part of the corporate portal used to search intercity bus trips, choose seats and buy tickets. The ticket enters the same trip cart as flights, hotels and transfers, and the company's travel policy, approval flow, billing profile and reports cover bus spend too.

The module is one of the ten products in the portal's product strip within the DIJI.TECH [corporate travel management software](https://www.diji.tech/en/corporate-travel-management/corporate-travel). The agency adds or removes buses per corporate client, so the module can be open for clients whose teams travel by coach and closed for clients that only fly.

## How does an employee search for a bus trip?

In the search form the employee types a city or terminal name into the departure and arrival fields, picks the date and chooses "Search trips". The search is one-way. In the results every trip collects what is needed for the choice in a single row and is marked according to the company's policy.

| What the row shows | Description |
|---|---|
| Bus company | Name of the company operating the trip |
| Departure and arrival time | Planned times of the trip |
| Seat layout | The seating arrangement of the vehicle, compared with the category rule |
| Departure terminal | The boarding point |
| Free seats | Seats remaining on the trip |
| Features | Services the company offers on the trip |
| Cancellation terms | Up to how many hours before departure cancellation is possible, or non-refundable |
| Price per seat | Amount calculated with the client's price tier |
| Policy badge | In policy, out of policy with the reason, or blocked |

Seat selection is not opened for full trips. For the return journey a second search is made; the outbound and return tickets are combined in the same trip cart and followed as one file.

## How is a seat chosen?

The employee opens the trip detail with the seat selection button on the trip row. The detail shows the live seat map of the bus: taken seats are marked and free seats can be selected. Each selected seat corresponds to one passenger, so the passenger count is not asked separately; it is set by the seats chosen. When the selection is finished, the ticket is added to the cart.

The seat map is requested from the supplier at the moment the detail is opened, so the employee also sees seats that were taken after the search. When several seats are selected, the additional passengers are defined in the passenger step of the cart: company employees come from the profile, and a user with the right authority can add guest passengers. Which identity details are mandatory for a guest passenger is derived from the booking rules of the products in the cart.

## How is a bus ticket tied to the travel policy?

A bus ticket is evaluated against the company's travel policy at search time, and a verdict badge is shown on each trip row. The rules that matter most for buses are the amount per person, the category rule for seat layout, minimum days before purchase and percentage difference from the best trip. The policy applies to the passenger, not to the person who buys.

| Rule | Use for buses |
|---|---|
| Amount per person | Upper limit for one passenger's ticket price |
| Category | List of allowed seat layouts |
| Minimum days before purchase | Routes a last-minute ticket to a reason or approval |
| Maximum % difference from the best option | Limits the gap to a cheaper trip on the same route |
| Item total | Total limit for a single bus item |
| Trip total | Limit for the whole cart, including the bus |
| Approval on every request | Always shows the bus ticket to the approver |

When a bus rule is violated, the company chooses the outcome per rule: the ticket can be blocked, sent to approval, or just shown as a warning. A company can first run the policy in "Information only" mode to watch the violations and then switch to "Enforce" mode. The scope is set as the company, a branch, a department, a grade or a person. The full set of rule types is on the [travel policy management](/en/travel-policy-software/) page.

## How does a bus ticket go to approval and how is it bought?

The bus ticket is evaluated in the cart together with the other items. If there is no out-of-policy item and no budget overrun, the path is "Purchase"; otherwise the path turns to "Send for approval" automatically and the whole cart goes to the approver as one request. The employee writes a reason for the out-of-policy item and can add a note for the approver.

The purchase steps follow the portal's general flow:

1. **Selection:** The trip and seat are chosen and the ticket is added to the cart.
2. **Trip details:** Passenger details come from the profile; the reason, billing profile and note for the approver are entered.
3. **Approval or payment:** If the cart is in policy it moves to payment, otherwise to approval.
4. **Result:** The ticket is confirmed, or the request falls into the approval status.

Payment is made from the prepaid company wallet the agency opens, or by card with 3D Secure where the agency allows it; card details are not stored and the charge is a single payment. If the price changes after selection, the purchase is not made until the employee explicitly accepts the new price. In a cart that goes to approval, the purchase is started from the company wallet at final approval. The seat is not held with the supplier while approval is pending, so for near-term trips the direct purchase path of an in-policy choice stands out. The design of approval levels is described on the [travel approval workflow](/en/travel-approval-workflow/) page.

## How are the invoice and documents produced?

The bus sale is invoiced to the company through the billing profile selected in the cart; the recipient is always a legal entity with its name, tax number and address. The trip file produces a travel plan PDF, a voucher PDF for the bus item and an invoice PDF. The documents carry the agency's brand and are generated from the stored record.

Billing profiles are defined per company and branch with an e-Invoice or e-Archive type (the Turkish electronic invoice formats); the employee selects the profile in the cart, and if none is selected the company's default profile is used. Bus sales pass through the agency's accounting document line. The SYS feed includes the bus product, and a sale made in a corporate context is transferred as a business customer, with the company's accounting code as the account code. See the [SYS accounting integration](/en/integrations/sys-accounting-integration/) and [corporate travel payments and invoicing](/en/corporate-travel-payments-and-invoicing/) pages for details.

If a cancellation is needed after purchase, the employee opens a cancellation request from the trip file; the portal shows a penalty and refund preview from the stored terms, the request lands in the agency's operations desk and the agency performs the cancellation with the supplier.

## How does the agency earn from bus sales?

The agency defines a client-specific service fee in the detailed rule engine: the fee can be fixed or a percentage, applied per ticket, per passenger or per booking, and capped. A client rule replaces the agency's general rule, and subsidiaries and branches inherit it.

In the price tiers, buses are among the modules priced with the client (customer) dimension. Supplier, net price, markup and commission fields are removed from portal responses, and the corporate client sees only its own price. When the contract model is transparent, the service fee is a separate line on the invoice; in a hidden-margin model it is folded into the line price.

When a corporate client asks for a ticket by phone or email, the agency staff member selects the client and the person with "Work on behalf of" in the panel, searches the bus trip at the client's price and sells it. In the same flow the bus options can be added to a quote PDF with the seller's logo and sent to the client. This channel is described on the [agent-assisted booking](/en/agent-assisted-corporate-booking/) page.

## Where does the bus content come from?

The bus content in the corporate portal comes from the BiletAll integration. The portal uses the bus connection the agency already uses in its panel, with the same search and cart objects; no separate bus connection is set up for the corporate channel. The employee sees the bus company on the trip row but not the supplier name or the agency's net price.

The BiletAll connection is opened at setup, according to the agency's account. If you want to build a separate B2C or B2B bus site that sells tickets to individual travellers or sub-agencies under your own brand, the sister product [bus ticket software](https://www.otobusbiletiyazilimi.com/) focuses on that need; Kurumsal.pro connects the same kind of content to the approved travel flow of the corporate client. The suppliers of the other modules are listed on the [integrations](/en/integrations/) page.

## How do flights and buses differ in the portal?

Flights and buses share the same cart, policy, approval and invoice flow; the differences lie in the search format, the class rule and the extra choices. For flights the cabin rule and fare package stand out, for buses the seat layout rule and the seat map. The table compares the two modules as they work in the portal.

| Topic | Flight | Bus |
|---|---|---|
| Search | One-way, round trip, multi-city with 2 to 6 legs | One-way; return by a separate search |
| Class rule | Highest cabin and long-flight cabin | Allowed seat layouts through the category rule |
| Seat | Seat map with the airline's ancillary services | Live seat map in the trip detail |
| Extra choices | Fare package, extra baggage, meals | Trip features are shown on the row |
| Loyalty | Miles&Smiles number is sent automatically | None |
| Document | E-ticket PDF | Voucher PDF |

The flight side is described on the [corporate flight booking](/en/corporate-flight-booking/) page. The employee experience, profile, cart and My Trips screens are on the [self-booking tool](/en/self-booking-tool/) page.

## How does bus spend appear in reports?

Purchased bus tickets enter the company's reports with a product breakdown. In the spend report the bus share is followed by department, branch and person; the policy compliance report shows bus violations together with the other products; and the sales breakdown lists each ticket with fee, service fee, VAT and total columns.

Reports are exported as Excel, CSV or PDF and can be distributed by monthly or weekly email, with each recipient seeing only the data in their own role scope. On the agency side the sales and profit report separates bus sales by client and by channel, either the corporate portal or agent-assisted booking.

To see the bus flow in the corporate portal with your own client scenarios, you can request a session through the [DIJI.TECH demo page](https://www.diji.tech/en/demo). Setup takes about one week on average and activating an additional module takes one business day; pricing is set by a quote.

## Frequently asked questions
### What is the corporate bus ticket module?
It is the section of the portal your agency gives its corporate clients where intercity bus trips are searched, seats are chosen and tickets are bought. The ticket sits in the same trip cart as the flight and hotel, and the company's travel policy, approval flow and billing profile apply to buses as well.

### Can employees choose their bus seat in the portal?
Yes. The employee opens a trip from the search results, sees taken and free seats on the live seat map in the trip detail and selects a seat. The number of passengers is set by the seats selected; once the selection is complete the ticket is added to the cart and bought through the usual cart steps.

### How is a bus search made?
The traveller types a city or terminal name into the departure and arrival fields, picks the travel date and searches for trips. The search is one-way; for the return journey a second search is made, and the two tickets can be collected in the same trip cart.

### Can a company apply travel policy to bus tickets?
Yes. Rules on amount per person, a category rule for seat layout, minimum days before purchase, percentage difference from the best trip and approval on every request apply to buses. The verdicts appear as badges on each trip row in the search results.

### Does a bus ticket go to approval?
If the cart is out of policy or the budget is exceeded, the bus ticket goes to approval together with the other items as one request; if it is within policy, the path is a direct purchase. The seat is not held with the supplier while approval is pending, so for near-term journeys an in-policy choice gives a faster result.

### Who is the bus ticket invoiced to?
To the billing profile selected in the cart, or to the company's default profile if none was selected, and the recipient is always a legal entity. Bus sales pass through the agency's accounting document line, and the bus product is part of the SYS feed.

### Can a bus ticket be cancelled?
The trip row shows how many hours before departure cancellation is possible, or that the ticket is non-refundable. After purchase the employee opens a cancellation request and sees a preview of the penalty and refund; the agency's operations desk processes the request.

### Can agency staff sell a bus ticket on behalf of a client?
Yes. In the panel the agency staff member selects the client and the person, searches the bus trip at the client's price and sells it. In the same flow, bus options can also be added to the quote PDF that carries the seller's logo.
